I didn't remember the GT 40 in this color when I saw it in Luther's showroom.
Then I found this picture of an original.  They took some liberties but it is close.

The meeting is Tuesday, April 11, 2006
at Luther Family Ford, Fargo at 6:30.

President Speaks

April, 2006

Hello Ford and Mustang Enthusiasts!

I don't know about you, but with the sun shinning outside today, I am starting to get some itchy fingers and lead feet!  Unfortunately for me my Mustang does not want to run when the temperature is below 50 degrees.  Maybe by the time our pizza party arrives, it will be warm enough to fire up the beast... One another note, I am hoping that everyone's basement and yard are dry and your sump pumps are not working overtime.

Thank you to everyone who helped out at the Toppers Car Sow.  It was a wonderful event (especially for those of us who have not been to it before).  There were some pretty fantastic paint jobs and custom work done on those vehicles.

I would like to thank Dean and peg S. for chairing the All ford Car show, and to Todd F. for chairing the island Park Shhow. Iam sure in your capable hands, along with our members helping them, we will have another round of shows we can be proud of.

Items for discussion in April:

Toppers car show recap
www.ndmotorsports.com
Mid month committee update
Pizza Party at Happy Joe's - April 25th
Cruise to Hooligan's, West Fargo - May, TBD
Items to send/sent to VMOA
Other

I am looking forward to seeing you all on the 11th.

Chad, hanging

From The Editor

Car Lovers Unite!

The Topper's Car Show was fun. Lots of great cares and nice people. It was great to see the cares after a long winter. Too bad so many were trailered in, but that's a March show. That's one of the differences I saw, there were a lot fo cares that were pushed in. Each show has its thing that make it unique. Speaking of car shows, our wll be coming up in July and August and the cahirpersons will be looking for help.

Spring is here, but I have one big drift left in the yard that nieeds to melt so I can get through the driveway!! Wh had a huge drift across one of the drives that was too sollid for the snowblower. But the weather has changed now, spring has come and so has high water. Hope everybody is abouve water. We are fine, just have to take the long way in ot work. some of our northern members aren't out of the woods yet.

We are running a list of car shows and events that we received form the Northern Cruz Club in Grand forks along wiht some from the website that Todd put together. Todd's website is NDMotorsports.com.

the package has been mailed to VMOA in california. We have included them on our mailing list for our newsletter and they are sending us their newsletter. We also exchange newsletters with Mustangs and Fords of the Dakotas in Bismarck. I will try to remember to bring the newsletter to the meeting.

Remember the mid-month activity is the Happy Joe's Pizza Party. See you Tuesday, April 11 at Luther Family Ford at 6:30.

Elton

From The Secretary

March Meeting – March 14, 2006

The Prez magazined the meeting to order promptly at 6:37.

Chaos followed.

Loren moved we accept the secretary's minutes for the February meeting, Elton seconded and they were accepted unanimously.

The Treasurer reports we have money.  The trailer is here and we owe money for it.  It is tow feet longer than we ordered and $100 more.  It still needs to be painted.

Old Business
Chad asked for volunteers for the car shows.  Todd, Brenda, Elton and Colleen will work the downtown show with Dave helping with the cooking.  It will be on July 15th.

Peg, Dean, Mark, Elton and Colleen will work on the All Ford Show.

Chad wanted to know if we would have a poker run on July 14th.  No resolution.

New Business
Tom read a story about Carroll Shelby and organ donation.  Tom and Loren encouraged organ donation.  Christine thought we should donate some money to the Carroll Shelby organ foundation.  Some research will be done.

Mid Month update, we will not go bowling, we will be working security for the Toppers Show.  Contact Chad to volunteer.  He will be looking into requirements

Greg motions we have same price for the pre and day of registration with a drawing between the pre-registered.  Dave seconds and it passes unanimously.

We settled unanimously on $10 for both shows.

Trophy categories will be determined by the committees.

Dean says he is well trained to a point.

Elton moves we adjourn and Brenda seconds. Unanimous

Mark
