Hi fellow, Ford lovers,

Well we had the cold, then the snow, now what?  Spring, rain, flood, whatever… we still have our cars, and dreams of car shows, road trips, projects, cruises, and just plain having fun.

This month is when we send out last call notices, in the form of only a cover page, to members who have not sent in their dues.  There are several that probably just forgot and need a reminder.  Hopefully they will pay their dues and remain a member of the club.

There was some positive response to putting together a display at Toppers Car Show.  Peg has gotten some members together for a club display with cars from different decades.  I know she was looking for one from the 80’s.  Toppers would like help with set up and other stuff on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  No pay just good club relationship.  We need an idea of people who want to help, which day and for how long.  So let me know at the meeting or by e-mail or phone call. I also found out that they already have 100 cars and are filling up fast.  If you plan to enter better do it quick.

Also I heard a few talk about Prime Steel, we have some time but we need to talk about a club display there.  What I’m saying is that if you are interested you should try to be at the next meeting or let someone know if you are interested.

This also brings up the car show Fliers.  We need to have a sample flier so we can approve them and get them printed for the two shows.  We plan to do a back to back like we have in the past.  So we need both fliers done.

I received a letter from a company called PowerBlock saying they were adding us to their Performance Directory.  More at the meeting.

It was decided to meet at Classic Cars of Fargo this month.  It is on the corner of Main Ave and 25th St.. So make sure you remember to show up there.  We plan a short tour after the meeting. Looking at cars should get the blood flowing and warm up the evening.

The mid month activity this month is Pizza Night at Happy Joes on 13th Ave S in Fargo on March 27th at 6:00. This is a family night so bring your spouse and your kids.

Hi Everyone,
Well, I’m glad that cold spell is over….BRRRRRRR!  And wouldn’t you know it, we had to have furnace problems and vehicle problems during the coldest part of the winter.  Sure glad they have been taken care of.  Now we have lots of snow.

Our mid-month committee has planned some events for the remainder of the year.  This month we will be having our Pizza Night at Happy Joe’s on 13th Ave in West Fargo at 6:00.  It is out near Menards.  I have listed them on the page with the Secretary’s minutes.  They will also be included in the Events section.  We hope to see you at some of these events throughout the year.  These are meant to be fun events and are to include your family.  It is a time when we get together to have a good time and get to know one another better.  If you have any questions on these events, please give us a call or e-mail us and we will get you an answer.

The chili-feed at the last meeting was great.  Thanks to everyone who contributed to the event.

This month I have included a member list of those who have paid their dues for 2007.  You may want to hang on to this for future reference.  Next month I am hoping to run a list of car shows for the year.  So if you have information on car shows coming up during this year, please get the information to me to include in the newsletter.  I will also try to include as many as I can each month in the Events section

February Meeting – February 13, 2006
7:034 Prez gaveled us to order for a “quick” meeting.
Colleen insists over Mark’s strong objections to amend the Secretary’s minutes.
(Mark thinks we should make it true if it is written)
January’s minutes should have read that “Dean said the Ford show is in progress”.
The vote was unanimous to accept the change.
The Treasurer reports we have money and the bills are paid.
Old Business
Car Shows – Dean says we are set for Sept 8th for the All Ford Show.
Todd is having discussions with Ken from Quality Auto on sponsorship of the Downtown Street Fair Show.
Elton showed us the Merit Care Newsletter with the club listed as partners in caring.
Jackets are at Sew What and if you want one you can order it from them.
New Business
Prime Steel is coming and several members are interested in a club display.
Craig moves and Todd seconds to pay for the domain name. After discussion it was decided to talk to Tad and get his advice.
Classic Cars on Main has invited us to have a meeting at his showroom. We decided unanimously to meet there next month after Dean moved and Bruce seconded.
Toppers’ Car Show. Peg is working on a club display. If you are interested in displaying, talk to her.
Mark moved we eat (adjourn), Dave seconded and we unanimously began to eat.

Are you interested in going to World of Wheels in Duluth on March 24? Check this out.

We are planning a Red River Trails bus tour to the World of Wheels car show in Duluth on Saturday, March 24th and thought maybe the Mustang Car Club would be interested. The bus will be leaving Fargo that morning ( probably 6-6:30 ) and will make pickups in Detroit Lakes and Perham. There will be room for 47 people and we probably have between 25 and 30 signed up so far. If we fill the bus, the bus trip will end up costing around $22.00 per person ( a little more if not filled, depending on how many actually go) and we have gotten a discount on entrance of $7.00 per person.
