President Speaks

Happy November Ford Lovers!
Finally, elections are over and we can once again enjoy normal television.  It's a good thing we don't have to campaign that hard to be an elected officer in the Mustang Club or no one would run for office.   That being said, remember we have election night this month along with our pot luck so please try to attend.  I have agreed to remain President for one more year but I have a change in my career that will cause me to be gone some.  I have accepted a district manager position with Reser's out of Portland, Oregon.  I will be in charge of North and South Dakota sales reps and their territories.  I will be in Oregon the first 2 weeks of December training and will miss the Christmas party.  My attendance for January and February are a bit iffy also, but hopefully after that we can get back on track and I can be around for meetings, etc.  Hopefully you will bear with me during my transition.  Thanks much and I will see you all on Tuesday evening!

Your Prez,
Dean

From The Editor

Hey Ford lovers!

The Election is over!  Thank goodness.  I’m not sure if I could take any more.   I’m writing this before the results are in, so hope your candidate won.  Now our club elections are coming up this month.  These are your officers for the next year.   Who knows, you may be railroaded..uh elected even if you are not there.  So show up and vote. Nuf said.

Weather has not been great for our cars but really hasn’t been bad.  I had to take the 64 ½ out one more time for no better reason than to drive it and oh yeah, get some lower cost gasoline.   Notice I didn’t say cheap! But what a turn around, now if it holds after the election.

The stock market crashed, invest in old cars or cars in general.  There may be some bargains out there if people decide to cash in on cars they own.  Was talking to an old car owner and discussing the swings in price.  We both remember when Model Ts were worthless, then the value sky rocketed, then fell again.  So not too different.

Well anyway, remember potluck and elections at the meeting on November 11.  Be there and bring something to share.  I believe Dean said he would bring plates, etc.  Bring your own beverage.

Elton

The weather on Monday (and a few other days) made me want to go home and get my Mustang and take it for a drive.  Was sure tempted on Monday, but unfortunately I had to go back to work.   Maybe there will be another nice day before winter???

Colleen
