This month's meeting is a salute to Carroll Shelby and his birthday number 79. As you may be aware, Carroll was born and raised in Texas and in addition to all the innovations he has brought to the automotive industry, we'll celebrate his birthday by having a western chili feast; just like the parties he's hosted at his ranch in the recent years. Now the chili may not be "authentic" Texas chili but we'll have all of the necessary additives to make sure that if you want, you'll be breathing fire (just like his cars) after eating. I promise you a good time, good conversation plus a video telling us all about Carroll, his life and his loves, the Shelby Mustang Ford and Ford Cobra. Before all of that we'll have some quick updates about the Car Show, the activities Committee, club jackets and anything else you'd like to bring up. In the coming months, here's what we'll be up to: MARCH: A summary of the upcoming car show season featuring a show-by-show review from our members who have previously attended athe shows, judging criteria, awards and a preview of the show circuit this year. I expect a spirited discussion, and your comments, about many of the shows. APRIL: A report from the activities committee on their plans for the club this summer, Valley Ford Car Show discussion, a review of Toppers Show and plans for our annual Pizza Party. Had enough? How about more give aways at our February meeting and a preview of the Toppers Show scheduled for March 23 and 24. Need a Toppers registration blank, come to the meeting and we'll have one for you there. I look forward to seeing every one of your smiling faces at the meeting this Tuesday! Craig
